Newtown – Ina M. Allen, 87, of Newtown died 5:40 a.m. Friday in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. She had been a patient there since Monday. Born Sept 5, 1898 in Parke County she was educated at Byron School and had lived in Newtown 50 years. Her marriage was Oct 23, 1915 in Rockville to Charles H. Allen. He died Feb 27, 1974. Mrs. Allen attended Hopewell Baptist Church. Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Doris William of Newtown; Mrs. Frances Davis of Seymour and Mrs. Louise Tobias of Charlestown and her twin sister, Mrs. Iva Smith of Williamsport.

Allen, Ina M. – Visitation 5-9 p.m. today at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Service there 2 p.m. Sunday the Rev. Doug McCord officiating. Interment Wolfe Creek Cemetery near Wallace. Surviving are 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A son, 1 daughter, 2 sisters, 3 brothers and a granddaughter preceded in death.
